Divine Mercy parish is comprised of three churches ministering to the Williamsburg and Greenpoint neighborhoods for 150 years. We are open for worship and to visitors seven days a week. Our offices are open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. On Saturday, we are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Take I 278/Brooklyn Queens Expressway when coming from Brooklyn or the Belt Parkway and exit at Metropolitan and Union Avenues. Follow the service road of the BQE and at the first light turn right onto Metropolitan Avenue and proceed several blocks down to Catherine Street.   Make a right onto Catherine Street and go two short blocks to Powers Street. The Church of St. Nicholas is on Olive Street between Powers and Devoe.

Take I 278/Brooklyn Queens Expressway and take the first exit after crossing over the Kosciuszko Bridge which is Meeker/Morgan. Continue on the service road under the BQE which his Meeker Avenue for several block until the corner of McGuinness Boulevard. Make a right and pass under the BQE and go straight. At that point, McGuiness Blvd. becomes Humboldt Street. Proceed down Humboldt Street to the intersection of Metropolitan Avenue. Turn left onto Metropolitan Avenue. Proceed down Metropolitan Avenue to Catherine Street.   Make a right onto Catherine Street and go two short blocks to Powers Street. The Church of St. Nicholas is on Olive Street between Powers and Devoe.

Take the L Train to the Grand Street exit. When arriving at street level you will be at the intersection of Grand Street and Bushwick Avenue. At one corner there is a Chase Manhattan Bank. Walk on the side of Chase Manhattan Bank one short block to the corner of Bushwick Avenue and Powers Street. Make a right onto Powers and walk down one long block to the corner of Powers and Olive. The Church of St. Nicholas is on Olive Street between Powers and Devoe.

St. Cecilia Parish

Coming from Brooklyn or the Belt Parkway, take I 278/Brooklyn Queens Expressway and exit at Humboldt Street and stay to the right as the exit ramp will divide. Proceed straight at the end of the right fork of the exit ramp which will put you onto Herbert Street. You will find the St. Cecilia’s Church at the corner of North Henry and Herbert Street.

If traffic is tied up on the BQE taking Metropolitan Avenue from Queens or Bushwick Avenue from Brooklyn are good options to get around the increasing traffic congestion. These are good ways to make your way to the neighborhood by car when the main routes not practicable.

Coming from the direction of Queens, take I 278/Brooklyn Queens Expressway and exit at McGuinness Humboldt Street which is just over the Kosciuszko Bridge from Queens. Stay on the service road—Meeker Avenue—under the BQE and turn left onto North Henry Street crossing under the BQE. You will find the St. Cecilia’s Church at the corner of North Henry and Herbert Street.

Take the L Train to Graham Avenue and walk down Graham Avenue North toward the BQE at the corner of Manhattan Avenue and Herbert Street turn right and walk two blocks to the corner of Herbert and North Henry. At the corner of North Henry and Herbert you will find St. Cecilia’s Church

Or

Take the G Train to Nassau Avenue. At the corner of Nassau and Manhattan Avenues walk in a southerly direction toward the BQE cross under the BQE and turn left and follow the service road until you reach the corner of North Henry and turn right. At the corner of North Henry and Herbert you will find St. Cecilia’s Church.
